The Walls Have Voices in Room 211

The degree to which the teacher creates a productive learning environment is one of the six “domains of effective teaching” that comprise a teacher evaluation.  And the most concrete aspect of any environment is the physical location – in our case, Room 211.

The photos below will introduce you to some of the details that make Room 211 a unique learning environment, from the inspiring quotes that adorn the walls (“My idea of a perfect school is one in which there are no children.”) to the “emergency toilet” to the dead fly that has been taped to the wall for the last thirty months. Enjoy the tour.
